Landscaping Projects
Last weekend I had to shoot three landscaping projects for AJ's Landscaping.
3 completely different homes, in 3 different areas of the city.

Kickapoo Ranch Pet Resort
Kickapoo Ranch is a brand spanking new, full service pet PALACE out in the Waller/Cypress TX area. I got to shoot the new facility just as it was opening and getting the finishing touches. Check back in the spring for updated pics of the exterior, but for now here's a preview of the property and a good view of the interior space.

2010 Houston Solar Tour
The Houston Solar Tour (http://www.houstonsolartour.com/) is comprised of a "social" (held at the University of Houston this year) that offers first-hand experience on different solar energy options for personal and commercial applications for homes and businesses. Learn about the growing renewable energy industry and see it applied to everything from student projects, to new and old homes in Houston, to City of Houston commercial buildings. And then a city tour is offered all afternoon which allows you to see all this green technology in action. It's a good (and educational) time had by all, and Blue Lemon Photo is proud to have been a part of it.

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico
Just back from a little trip to Mexico and starting to go through all my photos. This is one of my favorites so far. I loved the subtle vanilla-like colors we would see at dusk each night. One week was nice but an additional week would have been even nicer! More pics to come...

NEW TOY!
If there is one thing that makes any photographer jump for joy, it's getting a new toy. Today's object of affection is a new (to me) lens for my Leica M9. It's a pre-owned mint Elmarit 90mm f/2.8, which is no longer in production but is still a quite popular lens which is getting harder to find, even on the used market. When I received it the focus was a bit out of whack so I shipped it off to Essex Camera Service is New Jersey. They did a fantastic job and had it back to me in just a few days! Of course I grabbed my trusty model for the first few test shots, but expect to see a lot more examples from this Leica M9/Lens combo in the near future. So far I'm just loving the way it renders. Beautiful colors right out of the box, sharp as heck (thanks to Essex) and creamy creamy bokeh (out of focus area).
Just chillin
I'm thirsty! The birds can bath elsewhere.
